Agora is a nonprofit organization that depends on the support of the community to grow and thrive.
We have identified five basic ways individuals or organizations can partner with Agora as listed below.
Friends of Agora is a general title we use to identify those individuals and organizations that simply agree with our mission and philisophy and support Agora in many different ways. We hope you will soon become a Friend of Agora!
Agora Volunteers are the soul of our organization they are individuals who donate their time working at the bookstore, carrying out specific projects, assisting during our programs, selling books, connecting with customers, reorganizing our inventory, etc. When we have special events we always need volunteers. There is something for everyone.
We welcome organizations that would like to partner with us. Agora has sponsored community groups such as book clubs, support groups, workshops, round tables.
We are opened to explore new ways to make a positive impact in the community. Please, contact us if you want to talk to us about hosting a program or an event at our location.
